I am a UKCP registered Gestalt Psychotherapist, supervisor, consultant, and trainer. I am deeply committed to my clinical practice and to working integratively in response to each client’s needs. I undertake regular continuing professional development (CPD) and am committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and ethical practice.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, sexuality, family and relationship difficulties, loss and bereavement, abuse, life transitions, and self-esteem. I offer individual counselling and relationship therapy, working either short-term or long-term depending on what feels most appropriate. This may be a focused piece of work over a few months, or a longer, open-ended arrangement over a year or several years. The length of therapy is something we decide together.
I am a qualified Gestalt counsellor and a UKCP accredited psychotherapist. In my therapeutic work, I support growth and fuller self-expression through body awareness, relational exploration, and creative experimentation, all within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Alongside my clinical work, I am a partner at Therapy Space East in Shoreditch, and I work as a supervisor and therapy trainer. I practise both face to face and online. I am also a board member of the Gestalt Integrative Institute in Norway, where I am involved in the development and training of relationship therapists. I am also a trainer and assessor at various Psychotherapy Training Institutes as well as hosting my own CPD training at Therapy Space East.
I take my professional responsibilities seriously. I attend seminars, trainings, and conferences regularly to keep my knowledge and practice up to date. I have worked in a variety of settings over the years and with a diverse client base, which continues to inform and enrich my work. I am also in my own therapy - I feel we have to walk the walk…and a member of an ongoing personal development group.
I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by their ethical principles and code of professional conduct. I hold full professional indemnity insurance.
